SAP RAR 1.1 is Now Released for General Availability

SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting 1.1 has now been released for General Availability (GA) effective Feb 5, 2016. SAP RAR was developed closely with customers and co-innovators like Bramasol, as well as SAP’s internal accounting department, by analyzing the new revenue recognition standard and assessing how best to design an integrated solution to cover the new requirements.RARusergrouplink.png

General enhancements in RAR 1.1 include:
• Granular posting run
• Migration enhancements
• Accounting for contract modifications enhancements (Prospective Changes)
• Archiving
• Processing of return orders

Improvements for Telcos, High Technology, and other industries include:
• BRIM Integration including basic requirements for usage based revenue recognition
• Assumptions for invoices
• Account determination in adapter

Bramasol is also offering SAP RAR in the Cloud Solutions to help you get Rev Rec projects up and running quickly. The cloud based SAP RAR solution can send and receive to and from most major platforms including, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or even Excel, which helps reduce the stress of upgrading, migrating platforms, or complex integration.
