Beginning with this newsletter issue, we will regularly provide industry updates on how DSE disruption is impacting various industries, starting with Media and Entertainment. In many ways, the Media and Entertainment industry pioneered the rise of online subscription offerings such as streaming video services.  However, over two decades of rapid growth, sweeping changes, M&A activities, and increasingly complex cross-licensing arrangements, the industry has continually evolved.  Currently, slower growth, subscriber churn and profitability pressures are driving new waves of change, including the creation of new ad-supported subscription tiers.
